If an accident occurs, the renter is responsible for paying an accident penalty (insurance excess), which varies by vehicle value:
The maximum insurance excess is AED 10,000. Rental fees will continue until the car is repaired. In the event of a Total Loss, 30% of the vehicle's insured value plus the accident penalty will be charged. A valid police report is mandatory for all accidents.
Our rental insurance coverage applies only within the UAE. If an accident occurs outside the country, the renter is fully liable for all repairs and rental losses during the repair period.
Drivers aged 21-25 will incur a 10% surcharge on insurance claims in addition to the excess. Insurance is valid only for licensed drivers above 21 with at least six months of driving experience. Violating these terms makes the driver fully responsible for damages and rental charges until repair.
A AED 10 service fee applies to each fine from the RTA, Police, or Municipality. Salik is billed at AED 5 per crossing. Daily charges apply if no weekly/monthly rate is pre-agreed.
Drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs are fully liable for all damages and may be prosecuted. In such cases, full compensation is required from the renter.
In case of technical issues, contact Renter Point immediately. Do not attempt any repairs. Damages caused by misuse will be charged to the renter, including downtime fees.
Our vehicles may not be used for off-road driving, racing, drifting, or illegal activities. Only authorized drivers may operate the car. Subleasing is strictly prohibited.
Renter Point is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings left in the car. However, we operate a helpful Lost & Found policy to assist retrieval.
Daily rental includes 350 km/day; monthly rentals include 5,000 km/month. Excess mileage will be charged at AED 0.50/km. A grace period of one hour is allowed; additional hours incur late return fees.
Rental extensions are not permitted without prior approval. Unnotified delays may lead to remote vehicle deactivation.
Returns are accepted between 9 AM - 1 PM and 5 PM - 10 PM, Saturday to Thursday. Friday or holiday returns incur a AED 200 fee. Please book pickup at least two hours in advance.
We offer free delivery & pickup within 60 km of DXB Airport. Deliveries beyond this range are charged at AED 200 per trip.
